» Rules
[/b]» General
» Respect is an important part of this website, you are to respect eachother, the staff and everything that pertains to Translucence. This also means that I do not want to see copyrighted images being used in graphics, you will respect ownership.
» No power playing, godmoding, mary-sues, etc. Pretty basic stuff.
» We are a literate to advanced group, there will be a word count limit of 200 words. I'm also asking for quality, 1000 words of nothing is not needed, post something that you'd be able to work with yourself.
» Moderate swearing is allowed, however not excessive, if the staff thinks it's going to far, then it's enough.
» Character applications MUST be approved by staff before you are allowed to post.
» Liquid time is allowed, please no not overload yourself.
» One account per person please.
» At this time I am limiting characters to 5 per person. This will change when activity changes. Please do not overload yourself.
» Chatspeak is strictly prohibited in character profiles, roleplaying, the chat and c-box. Things like LOL, lmfao, brb, etc is fine.
» Six weeks is one in game season.
Packs
» The current packs are: Vahva, Alpha is Cairyo, Aequus, Alphess is Athena.
» There are a limited amount of loners, therefore if you're lucky, we will allow you a loner(or you can buy one in the shop). Otherwise you're character must join a pack. We will allow a two week span after your character is accepted to join or claim a pack.
» The only claimable packs are the Kingdoms, you do not need to buy these packs, but you MUST arrange IC five characters to join your pack.
» To create a pack, the alpha(ess) wishing to create the pack MUST have 5 other characters willing to create with them, one must be a beta. This must all be arranged IC.
» Pack ranks, rules and meetings will be decided by the Alpha(s).
» Pack's have a one month grace period of being started to adjust, after that the Alpha may be challenged, if a new Alpha comes into place this grace period starts over.
» Packs MUST be active, pack meetings once a season, mini-pack plots, etc. Alphas must post at least twice a week, if either is not met, the pack Alpha position will be up for audition or the pack will be deleted, members will have to find a new home.
» We expect pack hunts to be arranged every two months, we understand they take a long time to complete.
» Once the Kingdom packs are established, and Alphas have more then 10 members, please message a staff member, you are eligible for a category of your one and two free lands!
» Fighting/Challenging
» Fights are judged by one staff member, fights will be judged based on quality of the post, accuracy, injuries and creativity. If you feel you have been incorrectly judged, please message another staff member, and they will discuss the othercome with the previous judge and a winner will be decided.
» Fights will consist of eight posts, each opponent gets an entry post, and you then have three posts each. In these posts you will have:
1 Dodge
2 Attacks
After that the judge will post their decision.
» There is to be no power playing unless previously agreed by both roleplayers.
» Breeding/Offspring
» Breeding season occurs in the last week of fall and two weeks into winter. Birthing is the last week of spring, if a pregnant character misses the birthing deadline the pups will be considered still-born.
» Force-breeding is allowed within packs depending on rules, if you do not want your character to get forcebred, do not have them in that pack. It is also allowed in the Outskirts only with both players permission. In breeding season this can bring on pregnancy.
» Two roleplayers that are having a litter will get the choice to completely design one pup based on their parents genetics. The rest, including size litter, genders, living and dead, and looks/personality will be decided by the staff with an online dice.
» Expecting mothers, do note, Alpha's have every right to take your pups and do as they please with them.
» Healing
» All packs must enlist healers.
» Healing is an art, not everyone can do it, and Alphas must take into account that they may have to have pups trained from birth to heal.
» Roleplayers who play healers MUST take the disease guide into mind. Your character will be responsible of any injuries or infected in the pack.
» Healers have immunity from diseases ONLY when treating those with a disease, if you roleplay an encounter with an infected you are not treating or in an area infected, you still have a chance of catching the disease.
» Anything else
» We have seasonal diseases! In the updates area, you will find these located, be sure you understand the information given. Some may be deadly, you will be told if they are. Diseases will be influenzed to certain areas, those more likely to get it, etc. Character's, for each thread in areas with the affecting disease they are in will have a 50/50% of obtaining that disease, unless there is a higher chance(pup, elder, injured), the staff will flip a coin. IF your character catches the disease, you must be realistic, if it's parvo, nine times out of ten they will not survive. Staff will leave it up to you to decide your character's fate, but you MUST display signs of the disease in your roleplays until a predetermined amount of time is up.
Some characters may not be affected, but may be carriers, they must include this information with those whom they roleplay with.
» If you roleplay with a character that is carrying the contagious virus, you will also have a percentage based outcome. Please note: you roleplay with an infected character at your own risk.[/sup]
