When one thinks of Athena, many see a young wolf whom many think is too wise for her age. True, she is young, but in her own words, she often states that though wisdom may come with age, wisdom may also come from the learning one receives from others. This is what Athena often goes by whenever she makes a decision. Now, many would agree to say that Athena is more than just a young wolf who chooses to do whatever she may please, but rather someone with a true potential to lead others to a better future, for Athena is one who despises fighting. If she sees any fighting, it would be her decision to take it upon herself to cease the fighting, even if she has nothing to do with the other wolves.

War is not a word Athena feels grateful to know. To her, war is just another thing to kill of what may be left of the species of the wolf here in their world. If she could have her way, she would rid the world of all gore and battle. It is for these reasons that Athena prefers to keep to herself, away from the ruling dictatorship that is Ciryo. She remembers all to clearly the result which came from she and her parents crossing paths with the cruel wolf, and though she isn't one to hold a grudge against another, she still wishes that he will one day receive payment for all he has done to those of the wolf species. In her mind, she believes he is not worthy of his title, and never was. But with a caring nature such as hers, Athena knows that if she had to choose between letting him die, or helping him to live, she would most likely help him, for she knows she would never let another wolf die no matter how bad they were. She would never stoop that low, not ever in her life.

» Appearance:

Athena, in a sense, can be described as having an almost supernatural appearance. Being an Arctic Wolf, her fur is white of course, though the color is much brighter than many would believe, hence the rumor she almost looks angelic during the warmer seasons. It is during these times that her fur is even brighter than the color it normally is. Now, when it comes to how her fur looks coat wise, the hairs have never been straight. The pattern or style which normally accumulates with her coat is a wavy, almost wind blown pattern. Her stature, though not the tallest among most females, does not let her down very often. Her smaller frame enables her to be lethal and quick if she so chooses, but if she wants to, she can also make herself appear taller than she is.

Now, her eyes are a light blue color, almost as blue as the sky on a normal, sunny day. Her muzzle is a slightly darker color apart from her coat, the color being a very light grey. Now, when it comes to markings, Athena doesn't have anything extremely out of the ordinary. She has the occasional scar here and there, though they aren't extremely noticeable. No, what is noticeable is small amount of markings which adorn her head. Around her eyes there are small swirls, though the color of them is so light they are barely noticeable. The curl around her eyes, making it appear like there are circles around her eyes. From the end of the circles, there are small lines which travel down the sides of her face until the markings blend into the darker color of her muzzle. On her tail there are also markings, where certain strands of her tail are a darker color than the others about them.

» History:

When Athena was born, her birth was one that should never have happened. At the time, the two wolves who had brought the young pup into the world had been residing with the Vahva pack, holding the simple ranks of hunters. But they knew of the risks that they were taking by keeping Athena hidden away from Ciryo, for they hadn't wanted her to become another one of his mates.

Before she had even become three months old, the two wolves snuck away in the middle of the night with the pup, wanting to raise her away from the vicious ways of the pack. And for the majority of the time, their strategy worked. They taught her how to hunt, how to survive in the world without the aid of an entire pack by your side. Athena learned how one would fend for themselves in the heat of battle, teaching her the best defensive moves a wolf could know. But they couldn't stay away from Ciryo's clutches forever.

The alpha had been searching for the renegade pair after they had fled, and finally, he had come upon what he had been looking for. The small family had come across the unfortunate luck of running across the alpha, and without any mercy, they had attacked. With the strength the two had still contained, they held the wolves off long enough for Athena to slip away, and ever since then she has been on the run like her parents once were.

To this day, Athena has kept herself away from Ciryo, knowing that his wrath against her would not be kind. She knows that any confrontation with him would turn into a fight, and since this isn't something she wants, she has recently taken it upon herself to find a place of peace for not only her, but for others who wanted away from any war that may occur. She has taken residence in Mons Montis lately, and for any wolf who happens to run across her, she offers them the chance to join her in her neutral territory.
